Join us for the Opening Reception of the 27th annual Art for All Seasons Membership Exhibit and Club Mud Ceramics Holiday Show & Sale, this Friday, November 15, from 6 - 8pm.
Art for All Seasons features paintings, drawings, prints, photography, and sculpture by over one hundred of the Center’s artist members, including functional and decorative ceramics created by members of Club Mud, the Center’s onsite ceramics cooperative.
Printmaker and installation artist Mika Aono is one of the many artists with pieces in this year’s exhibit. Mika has shown her work locally, nationally, and internationally, including most recently in a solo exhibition at the Linglen Gallery at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon, and at Atelier Mondial in Basel, Switzerland.
Shelly Fredenberg is a member of the Art Center’s onsite ceramics studio, Club Mud. She and fellow artist Christopher St. John collaborated in “Singing the Animal, Singing the Earth,” a large installation of their work at the Art Center in February – March 2019. Shelly has shown her ceramic pieces extensively throughout Oregon and Washington and was the “Featured Artist” at Lake Oswego’s Art in the Park in 2018.
Mixed media artist Drew Harrington exhibits a vibrant blue oil painting on paper in “Art for All Seasons.” Her paintings are abstracted to show the beauty of shape, line, and color. Drew paints what she calls “imagined moments in time” that reflect the color and geography both of the Northwest and her native Southwest. She most recently exhibited her work in the 2019 Mayor’s Art Show.
